An insightful coach and consultant, Mary specializes in executive and leadership development, career management strategies, women’s professional growth and achievement, and personal life transitions. She is a diversly skilled educator, facilitator, and HR consultant with extensive experience leading talent development and training departments in corporate, nonprofit, and higher education settings. Mary has led global diversity and inclusion education and directed national mentoring programs for women and racially and ethnically diverse, emerging leaders.

In 2022, Mary was recognized by Influence Digest as a Top 15 Coach in St. Paul, MN. Her strongest coaching abilities include: increasing adaptability, resilience, psychological fitness, emotional intelligence, and leadership agility; aligning and strengthening teams; building skills in influence and negotiation; advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity in organizations; and leading organizational change. She is an expert in career planning and job search strategies for clients leaving a job or desiring a career change. In addition, organizations contract with Mary to provide assessment and coaching services for their employees for various purposes.
As a global practitioner and consultant, Mary designed and delivered talent management programs for leaders across Asia and customized a leadership development program for leaders on four continents. Industry leadership has included: financial services and banking, pharma/biotech, high tech, manufacturing, and professional services. She has consulted with many companies including Ecolab, Cargill, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Microsoft, and Land O’Lakes to provide coaching and leadership development programs. Among her nonprofit experiences, she led organizational and employee development at Learning Ally, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing whole-person literacy solutions. Locally, Mary worked at the U of MN and several Twin Cities private colleges as a faculty member, administrator, and advisor.
In addition to receiving an MA in Education and Counseling Psychology and Mini-MBA in Non-Profit Leadership, Mary has earned numerous assessment certifications and completed a program with the College for Executive Coaching which resulted in her becoming an ICF-Certified Coach. She has received training in therapeutic and neurodiverse approaches to coaching and continues to expand her knowledge in the neuroscience of leadership.
